Those wondering what it would be like to be Tiger Woods playing the Hazeltine National Golf Club course need wonder no longer.
The private course in Chaska is one of the new courses featured in the recently released Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 by EA Sports. It will allow players to experience the famed 18th hole where, as Woods declares in the game’s trailer, he hit “probably my best shot ever on the PGA Tour” in 2002.
Hazeltine is hosting this year’s PGA Championship in August.

Eden Prairie’s Ed Flaherty co-authors “Coached for Life”
By Karla Wennerstrom
When Ed Flaherty left a 40-year reunion with his teammates from the 1962 state champion Great Falls Central Mustangs, he knew he had a story to tell.
Friend Stan Donnelly told him he needed to write it down – and introduced him to writer Jack Uldrich.
Talk of a conflict started last week.
Seniors on the defending champion Blake Bears girls lacrosse team were scheduled to graduate at the same time the Minnesota State High School League had planned to play this year's girls lacrosse state championship game.
Knowing this, the MSHSL waited until the boys final was decided, and another scheduling conflict was avoided, before finalizing championship game times, and dates.
Eden Prairie High School seniors Cassy Opitz and Jared Ness were each awarded a Golden Eagle trophy and a $1,000 scholarship today.
The awards, given annually by the Eden Prairie (A.M.) Rotary Club, recognize EPHS seniors for outstanding athletics and academics.
Opitz has starred in cross-country running, Nordic skiing, and track and field. Ness has been a top swimmer at EPHS.
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is reminding anglers to replace lead sinkers and jigs with lead-free fishing tackle. The MPCA says "lead is a toxic metal that poisons birds and other wildlife, including Minnesota favorites such as loons and eagles," according to a news release.
Looking to add more diversity, mystery and excitement to your fishing outings? Head for the Minnesota River.
At last count, 63 different species of fish were known to inhabit this 334-mile long river that begins at Big Stone Lake in western Minnesota and eventually joins the Mississippi River at Fort Snelling in St. Paul. From trophy-size flathead catfish to walleye and sauger, shovelnose sturgeon, white bass and more, anglers never know what type or size of fish might latch onto their bait when fishing this historic river.

The Eden Prairie High School baseball team opened its 2009 campaign like it always does. Drew Bartley sang the National Anthem and announced the starting line-up; from there, the Eagles took over.
Residents are invited to join the Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools for “an exciting night of basketball and fun” at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Target Center. The Minnesota Timberwolves take on Shaquille O’Neal and the Phoenix Suns on “Eden Prairie Night.”
“Proceeds from your participation will support the Foundation of Eden Prairie Schools (FEPS) programs such as innovative teaching grants and college scholarships for high school seniors,” according to a news release from the group.
