The seventh annual Birch Island Woods Plant sale at the Picha Heritage Farm in Eden Prairie runs from May 9 to 18. Proceeds from the Birch Island Woods Plant Sale go to conservation, education and restoration projects in the Birch Island Woods Area. The large stock of annuals, perennials, herbs and TP-14 and heirloom tomatoes is refreshed every morning. This year, master gardeners from the U of M’s Extension Service will be on hand daily to answer growing questions. Beekeepers and a buckthorn crafter will be giving demonstrations on the weekends.
