Congratulations to Jay Simpson, Cheryl Schraeder, Bob Solohub, Gary Chanen and Scott Neal, who are among Eden Prairie (A.M.) Rotary Club members recently recognized by Rotary District 5950. Rotary emblem Jay and Cheryl were recognized by the district with distinguished service awards – Jay for his work with STRIVE, a program to mentor Eden Prairie High School students, and Cheryl for her medical mission work in Honduras. Gary and Scott were recognized for their work in helping the club advance community service, and Bob received an honorable mention award for his work photographing the club’s meetings and events, as well as updating its Web site. District 5950 includes western and central Minnesota, as well as the Minneapolis area. (Rotary Rooter focuses on the activities of the Eden Prairie A.M.
