MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Lynx today announced that the team will reconfigure the seating in the Target Center for 16 of its home games in the 2008 season to allow for the debut of “The Lynx Party Zone.”

The Lynx Party Zone is a courtside area that will offer fans a fantastic courtside view of the game in spectacular style with a broad range of amenities and entertainment available only to fans seated in the Lynx Party Zone.

“We are extremely excited about unveiling an exciting new element that will enhance the in-arena experience for all Lynx fans during our upcoming 10th Anniversary Season and beyond,” said Angela Taylor, Lynx Vice President of Business Operations. “The Lynx Party Zone is a unique way for us to bring an exclusive, VIP experience courtside where guests will be able to network while watching the best women's professional basketball in the world.”

Sitting courtside in the Lynx Party Zone is like having a membership at an exclusive club. Beginning with the 2008 10th Anniversary Season, the Minnesota Lynx will offer the Lynx Party Zone to fans who wish to entertain business associates, family and friends in a way that has never been more convenient or more fun, all while enjoying the excitement of Lynx basketball.

The Lynx Party Zone offers a large party suite that seats 12-16 adults, three mini-suites seating 6-8 adults, the Lynx Lounge that will seat over 50, and a Kidz Zone that features an interactive play area, games, face-painting and more. The Party Zone will also feature live entertainment before, during and after Lynx home games.
