The following incidents were reported by the Eden Prairie Police Department:
BURGLARY
Sometime between 8:40 p.m. on May 15 and 4:54 a.m. May 16, someone took $1580 worth of property from an attached garage on the 7200 block of Scott Terrace. Missing items include took earrings, GPS unit, iPod docking station, golf clubs and a drill.
Sometime between 8 a.m. May 17 and 7:30 a.m. May 19, someone may have attempted to break into Eden Prairie liquor, 950 Prairie Center Drive. About $150 in damage was done to the rear lock at the store.
Between 8 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. May 19 someone broke into a residence on the 7500 block of Carnelian Lane. The victim came home and found someone had gone through her house; drawers were opened and tampered with. The rear door to the garage had broken glass and was partially open, and it is likely the suspect entered the house through that door. A $1200 laptop was taken and $200 in damage was done to the door.
At around 4 a.m. on May 8, someone broke into Erik’s Bike Shop, 16376 Wagner Way and stole two bikes: one, a 2008 red Scalpel, was valued at $2,499 and the other, a 2007 grey Enduro was valued at $1,299. About $700 in damage was done to the front window of the shop.
Someone reported seeing two male suspects enter a garage on the 12000 block of Jasper Lane at 12:40 p.m. on May 26. Nothing was reported stolen.
THEFT
A man reported parking his vehicle near the food court at Eden Prairie Center on May 1 between 6:30 and 9 p.m. When he came out the rear slider window was smashed and his briefcase and wallet were missing, as well as a laptop, IPod and digital camera. Total value was estimated at $3,620.
Between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. May 3, a box of expensive jewelry was stolen from an Eden Prairie home in the 8000 block of Hiawatha Avenue. The victim reported that movers were in and out of her house at the time. The items, valued at $17,000, included gold bracelets, charms and a gold necklace. The case is under investigation.
Sometime between midnight and 3 a.m. on May 16, someone took a vehicle from a residence on the 11000 block of Stratton Ave. The 2000 Mercedes was valued at $16,000 and included license number MXM 627.
Between 8 p.m. May 16 and 5 a.m. May 17, someone stole four steel patio chairs from a residence on the 14000 block of Greenview Court. The total value of the chairs was $1,200.
