The University of Minnesota carp research team from Sorensen Labs successfully removed approximately 7,000 pounds of carp from Lake Riley on Friday. The carp seine was deemed a success by Przemek Bajer, a post-doctoral associate working on the carp research.

La Danse Fatale is performing "The Snow Queen" and "A Woman's Light" this weekend at Eden Prairie High School. Performances are set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21.
