CORN FEED – The Eden Prairie Lions Club’s annual Corn Feed is set for 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Round Lake Park in Eden Prairie, Eden Prairie Road and Valley View Road. An adult meal with all the corn you can eat, barbecue and chips costs $7 for adults ($6 for corn only) and $5 for children under 12. Soft drinks and beer will be available at an additional charge. SUMMER SIDEWALK SALE – The PROP Shop is planning its biggest sale ever starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, with the sale continuing through Saturday, Aug. 9. The store is at 15195 Martin Drive and sales benefit PROP, Eden Prairie’s food shelf. Most of the shop’s merchandise will be 50 percent off, according to a news release. BRYANT LAKE BEACH PARTY – From noon-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Bryant Lake Regional Park in Eden Prairie the party is planned rain or shine. Meet exotic live animals with Marthe Herbert of Creature Encounters Inc. Show is at 1 p.m. Build a sandcastle with tools and decorations supplied and win a cold treat. Jump, crawl and dig through a beach obstacle course. Make a frog hat and a froggie fly catcher, play water games and see live animals! Meet a live turtle, snake, salamander and raptor and learn how they stay cool on a warm summer day. We will provide a beach-like atmosphere with fun entertainment, games, crafts and live animals in the pavilion. Reduced rental rate on kayaks, canoes and paddleboats. Cost is $5/child or $3/adult.
