T Minus 103 - Now It's Obama's Turn

Amazing, isn't it? Republicans using "liberal" as a pejorative; as an insult. Newt Gingrich actually wrote about smearing through labeling; The Professor called it Language: A Key Mechanism of Control, and "liberal" is on that list. Republicans have been smearing Democratic Party candidates since 1994; they're still doing it today - and today, it's Obama's turn.

It's Obama's turn to be trashed by the rightwing. And the tenor of the trashing tells you the desperation the rightwing is feeling. They're more than willing to put Palin on a stage and trash Obama, but they're afraid to put her in front of a journalist. There is less than FOUR WEEKS until the election, and Democrats are in charge from the top of the ticket to contests at local levels - these days, it seems as if a GOP endorsed candidate would be lucky to get elected dog catcher.

The current leadership of the GOP has broken everything they've touched; it's time to hold them accountable at the ballot box.

To make sure GOP Leaders are held accountable on November 4th, call a DFL Party candidate's office, and send them money and/or volunteer time. Do it now.

If you're a Republican upset with where your party leadership has taken the once-proud GOP, but you can't see yourself voting DFL, vote for Dillon and vote for Barkley - they were once Republicans, too.

Remember, if you vote GOP in less than 4 weeks, you're telling them that you forgive them for everything they've done; everything they've broken. If you want reasonable and respectful leadership in the GOP, today's GOP needs to be completely and thoroughly routed on November 4th. Fortunately, it looks like that will happen.

And that will make sure that in 103 days, January 20th, 2009 will be The End Of An Error.
