The Three Rivers Park District Board of Commissioners will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 3 in the Board Room of the Park District Administrative Center, 3000 Xenium Lane N. in Plymouth.
Three Rivers Park District is governed by an independent, seven-member Board of Commissioners charged with the responsibility of establishing policy for the Park District and levying the tax to fund operations. Five members of the Board are elected from districts in suburban Hennepin County and two are appointed by the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners.
Three Rivers Park District’s mission is to promote environmental stewardship through recreation and education in a natural resources-based park system. The Park District owns and operates over 27,000 acres and serves more than 5 million visitors a year.
