The 2007 version of “Vino Classico: Eden Prairie Uncorked” is less than three months away!

In case you’ve never heard of the event, Vino Classico is a wine-tasting fundraiser held annually by the Eden Prairie (A.M.) Rotary Club. It is the club’s largest fundraiser, and proceeds are used for a wide array of projects, from safe-water projects in Honduras to student recognition at Eden Prairie High School, polio eradication around the world, college scholarships, Meals on Wheels and more.
This year’s event will be held the evening of Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Eden Prairie Lifetime Fitness club formerly known as Flagship Athletic Club.
With help from the City of Eden Prairie’s municipal liquor stores, the event will include wine samples from nearly two dozen vendors, as well as food samples, art work that will be auctioned, and many other activities.
If you’ve been a loyal Vino Classico patron in the past, thanks! We’d love your suggestions on how to make the 2007 version even better than in the past. If you’re a registered user on this Web site, you can simply attach your comment or suggestion to the end of this article.
If you’ve never attended this wine-tasting event, please consider joining us on Oct. 13.
As we get closer to the event, we’ll have more information in this blog and in the Eden Prairie News print edition.
(Rotary Rooter focuses on the activities of the Eden Prairie A.M. Rotary Club, which meets at 7:30 a.m. Tuesdays at the Biaggi's restaurant at Eden Prairie Shopping Center. Guests are welcome. You can learn more about the club by visiting www.epamrotary.)
