The Eden Prairie (A.M.) Rotary Club is gathering donations of household supplies, toys, school supplies and clothing that will be shipped to Honduras and given to needy children.

The drive is part of the club’s overall mission to aid Honduras.
Household supplies that are needed include good-quality kitchenware, can openers, linens, liquid hand soap and shampoo, toothpaste, hairbrushes, over-the-counter medications such as children’s vitamins, smoke alarms, and flashlights.
Toys should not include batteries but can be items such as Legos, balls, toy cars and trucks, puzzles, and dolls.
School supplies that can be donated include children’s books in Spanish, ESL books for learning English, black school shoes and white socks, navy blue school skirts and pants, CD’s and CD players, art and craft materials, pens and pencils, and calculators.
New or “like new” children’s clothing in all sizes is also needed, including underwear, bathing suits and pajamas.
